A few days ago I wrote about Tips to Reduce Obesity. Well now, I'll give you some tips on how adding weight. Ten of them are:


          1. Eat frequently! – Arrange to have 3 large meals and 2-3 snacks every day.
          2. Eat bigger than normal portions for your meals
          3. Eat food with higher calories
          4. Add healthy unsaturated fats such as olive and canola oil, nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados.
          5. Eat diet food with high calories & proteins like eggs, fish, meat, veggies, milk, protein supplements, fruits- bananas etc.
          6. Beverages can help you gain a weight too. If it’s possible, drink shakes, milk, juice, etc. instead of water, coffee, tea, and diet sodas.
          7. Increase your protein intake. Your body needs a lot of protein to build new muscle. But since most of the calories for weight gain come from carbohydrates and fats, do not replace them with protein.
          8. Do resistance training -- Weight training helps convert the extra calories into muscle. One of the best weight training exercises for building muscle mass are free weight exercises like squats, dead lifts, bench presses, barbell rows, pull ups and bar dips.
          9. Consistency - It would take some time, usually a few months, for you to see some weight gain. Many people get frustrated and quit when they fail to see dramatic improvement. You need to focus on your weight gain plan. No weight gain program can work wonder for you if you don’t commit to it.
          10. Many people are skinny because of their genetics. But effective weight gain program can help you exceed your genetically predetermined weight.
Supplement is also important at gaining weight for you.

Tips to reduce Obesity


Numerous tips to reduce obesity have been mentioned in ayurveda. The following ayurvedic tips help you to reduce the obesity.
  1. Very good exercises. Exercises like brisk walking, jogging, playing out door games etc help to reduce weight.
  2. Physical and mental exertion. Exerting physically like doing house hold works, walking to distant places to bring groceries, vegetables etc, walking long distances to bring the child back from school, walking to working place, climbing stairs etc are types of physical exertion. Exerting physically as much as you can help to burn more calories. Mental exertion like worrying or involving in finding solutions to problems  also restrict food consumption in some and there by reduces the intake of calories .
  3. Having sex frequently is also a good physical exertion.
  4. Consumption of honey. This is advisable for non diabetic patients. Consuming  2 tea spoon of honey with a glass of herbal tea which includes weight reducing herbs help a lot in weight reduction. Honey along with these herbs scrapes and dissolves  the Kapha and medha (body fat).
  5. Sleeping for less hours. Avoiding sleeping in afternoons help to increase the burning of calories. This avoids slowing of  basal metabolic rate.
  6. Avoiding the food and beverages which increase kapha  and medha. The foods which increase kapha and medha are sweets, sweetened drinks , large quantities of carbohydrates and oily food.
  7. Consuming wheat products than rice products help to reduce obesity.
  8. Using Green gram and horse gram help in reduction of kapha and medha.

Soy Prevent Breast Cancer Recurrence



At this level of prevalence of breast cancer in women is increasing. If the previous theory that cancer is a disease that is more rooted in heredity or hereditary factors, it is now stated that cancer is triggered more modern lifestyle factors that are not healthy and a lot of stress.

This is just the start, but should be helpful in sparking your creative thinking. Be sure to keep your eyes and ears open to everyday life problems/solutions/products. Ask yourself key questions like: What's going on in the news and in the papers and magazines? What was the last movie that you watched or the last vacation that you took? What are your hobbies or interests, and how about those of your family (sites that are aimed at youngsters can be hugely successful when they are done right!). Are there daily tasks that you struggle with or something where you seem to be uncommonly adept? If so, then why not tell other people about it, and - if it is a problem or a difficulty - tell them how you solved the problem. With a down economy, what are the new trends or concerns? Are spending habits changing? If so, how? What areas will spending increase as income decreases?

You don't have to invent the product that solves a particular problem. People will pay you to research existing products to bring about their needed solutions. It's time to act!

Trends Job Seekers Should Look for in 2011


It may not seem like it but the recession seems to be tailing off. More people are willing to spend money, so lending has returned to a degree. But that doesn't mean anything if you're one of the ones without a job. 2011 is shaping up to be a great year for job seekers, especially if you are filling a critical need job. Sure there is high unemployment still but that does not mean that you cannot make something happen in the New Year. Having a positive attitude and staying abreast of the trends will put you in the running to find that job you want.
But, what are some of the trends for job seekers in 2011? There are a few different things to pay attention to, that are just over the horizon.

The Outlook:
Job growth is expected to be faster than average, thanks to growing demand for service sector jobs, the looming retirement of aging baby boomers, and broad efforts to create job growth. Money:

Postgraduate work is a great thing to showcase on a resume and it can help set you apart from other potential job seekers.

Employers are worried about salaries and specifically new salaries. In 2011 the trend is to develop talent from within, instead of spending the time to evaluate and train an outside employee. More employers are looking to promote from within. This is obviously not something that job seekers want to hear in 2011, but just focus on showcasing your skills and building your resume, and you will be on to your future job.

Job Types:
Expect a lot of graveyard shifts, weekend work and holiday work. Employers know that they have their employees in a tight spot and they are going to work their employees into the ground. Do not expect much help in the way of increased pay for this type of work. Profits are high for the top, not for the people doing the actual work.

How to Apply Eye Makeup in 8 Steps

When evening calls for a glamorous look, you want to focus on making your eyes amazing. Here's how to apply eye makeup in only 8 steps.

1. Prep your eyes with concealer Concealer can be used to cover up under-eye circles or just the bluish discoloration just under your inner eye. To cover dark undereye circles, apply three dots of concealer under each eye. Start at the inner corner where skin tends to be darkest, then under the pupil and the third on the outer edge. Pat, never rub with your ring finger (this finger tends to have the softest pad) until it disappears. 

2. Apply eye base to your lid Eye base is the secret to keeping your shadow in place for hours. Without properly priming your lid first, your eyeshadow will likely end up a greasy line in your crease. 

3. Follow with eyeliner Dark eyeshadows work great as eyeliners. Wet a slanted brush, then dip in a dark eyeshadow. Line eyes as close to the upper lashes as possible from the inner corner to the outer corner. Follow with liner on bottom eyes, but only line from the middle of the eye out. Smudge the bottom line with a Q-tip or your finger. You don't want a prominent line. For a smokey eye, use a brush to pat in a dark eyeshadow along the upper lid and below the lid. You don't want a stark line, instead you want to blend it so it's "smudge-y." 

4. Apply eyeshadow. It's great to use a three-toned shadow and build from lids to brow (see How to apply eyeshadow). Allowing them to blend into each other like a rainbow is gorgeous, according to celebrity makeup artist Mally Roncal. Start with a light color that almost matches your lid. Sweep the color across the lid and up to your browbone. Follow with a medium color across your lid only. Build on this with a darker color in the crease. Blend the colors well. 

5. Brighten your eyes with a highlighter This step involves only the inside part of the eye. Putting a bit of your lightest eyeshadow in the inner corner of your eye will brighten it significantly (this is the makeup artist's secret and I use this trick all the time). I usually dab a finger into my lightest eyeshadow and then I press it into the inner corner of my eye where the upper lid meets the bottom lid. This totally makes eyes "pop." 

6. Highlight your brow Take the same light eyeshadow and dab it on your browbone, concentrating on your mid-brow outward. Blend with your finger. I like to use Yves Saint Laurent's Touche Eclat just below my brow and just above it, but a super light shadow will do you. 

7. Curl lashes An eyelash curler will make even long lashes look more gorgeous. For added effect, you can heat the curler under a blowdryer for a couple seconds. Test curler before applying to lashes because you could burn yourself. 

8. Apply mascara Place the wand of your mascara brush at the bottom of lashes and wiggle back and forth. Follow with another few sweeps of the wand. Apply to bottom lashes as well. See How to apply mascara for step-by-step instruction and extra tips.
